The Synod of the Southwest is offering an amazing opportunity for students currently in grades 7-12 from the Presbyteries of de Cristo, Grand Canyon, Santa Fe and Sierra Blanca to experience the work of the larger church by attending the 2012 General Assembly, as well as serving in various mission projects in the Pittsburgh area: General Assembly Mission Experience (G.A.M.E. 2012). Stewardship Kaleidoscope 2012

The theme this year is Gratitude and Generosity, Living the Faith, to be held in Charlotte, NC, March 12-14, 2012. There will be more than 30 workshop choices covering wide range of stewardship and financial discipleship topics. 2011 Pentecost Offering

The Pentecost Offering is traditionally received on the day of Pentecost (June 12, 2011). It provides a direct way to meet the needs of children at risk, youth, and young adults. Congregations are encouraged to keep 40 percent of the Offering to support ministry with children at risk in their communities. Check out this video highlighting the Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program in West Hollywood. Did you know that 25 percent of the Pentecost Offering supports the YAV program?
